The principals of Hi-Rise are “hands-on”. As such, the decision-making process is swift and unencumbered, with each project assigned to a multidisciplined team to facilitate the development process. Each partner brings a rich and diverse skill set to the table, giving our clients access to expertise across a number of functions.

Warren S. Green, B.A. LLB

Chairman

Warren has served as the Chairman of the Hi-Rise Group since establishing the company in 1979. Prior to this, he was a Co-Founder of Farano Green law firm and President and CEO of Planned Fiscal Systems Ltd., a company engaged in the building, development, and financing of residential and commercial projects. Additionally, Mr. Green was responsible for the construction and financing of over 3,000 apartment units under the MURB program.

Shawn Marr, B.A. LLB

CEO & Managing Partner

Shawn oversees the management of the company’s projects, project financing and sourcing new developments. Shawn was vital in establishing a relationship with LiUNA by managing the Lister Block redevelopment project. The redevelopment of Hamilton’s historic Lister Block was recognized for its achievement by the Heritage Canada Foundation. The LiUNA partnership continues today, with the redevelopment of a number of projects throughout Southern Ontario.

Andrew Salomon, cpa

President & Managing Partner

Andrew brings a background in accounting and a CPA designation to his role of President & Managing Partner at Hi-Rise. He has worked with Hi-Rise on select projects since 2009 before formally becoming a Partner of the company in 2019. Prior to assuming his role at Hi-Rise, Andrew founded and operated a custom home construction company for nine years, so he is well versed in the intricacies of real estate and construction.

Spencer McKay, B.A.

VP Development

Spencer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the review and approval of all projects as Vice President Development at Hi-Rise. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision, Spencer ensures that every aspect of the design and planning process aligns with the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance without sacrificing the economic efficiencies of a project. Drawing on his extensive background in urban planning and project management, he works closely with project teams to identify potential challenges, mitigate risks, and streamline workflows.
